The Arabic ''nisbah'' (attributive title) Al-Qurtubi ((アラビア語:القرطبي)) denotes an origin from Córdoba, Spain. Al-Qurtubi was a famous mufassir, muhaddith and maliki faqih scholar from Cordoba. He is most famous for his commentary of the Quran, Tafsir al-Qurtubi.
